I disagree with Paul’s comment today on ABC 702 that people should avoid Norton anti-virus (and other Internet security suites by Norton) because it slows your computer down.
While this may have been the case five years ago, the latest Norton products do not hog system resources. Computer Choice magazine recently rated Norton as one of the best in terms of it’s demand on system resources. I am running Norton 2010 with Windows XP SP3, on a PC that is 6 years old. Norton is fast and easy to use.
I suspect many users once had Norton on their PCs many years ago, were frustrated with it, and never went back. You would be pleasantly surprised at how much Norton has improved.Check out some online forums and you will read that people are even using Norton 2010 for their Netboooks!
